"Most anyone can pick up a gun and pull the trigger, how about a knife? Can you kill someone if a knife? If the answer is no, you're not cut out for this life."
Kit stands six feet, three inches. He has calm grey eyes, a strong body, and a penchant for travelling, and shooting in both hunting and combat situations. He's built like an ox, but not the biggest of the group by any means.
He generally wears a heavily patched pair of brown pants, a thick leather belt, a sleeveless shirt, and a pistol belt. He carries a duster jacket tucked under his arm or over his shoulder typically, and wears a small canvas backpack.
The leather pistol belt is arranged from left to right like so; A Colt 1911 in a leather holster (It's carried crossdraw, so he can get to it with his right hand.), four magazines of .45 Ball ammunition in leather pouches, A high quality, compact but all inclusive matinence kit for his firearms carried in a leather pouch, A canteen at the back of his right hip, in another leather pouch, next to that, he carries three pouches of two stripper clips for his rifle, and finally a medium sized, (10" or so, with a 5.5" blade) keen, carbon steel combat/utility knife, with a medium sized double-sided sharpening stone in a pouch on it's leather sheath.
In his right pocket, he generally carries a zippo lighter in the watch pocket, and a medium sized slipjoint folding knife with ivory scales and a razor sharp blade in his main pocket, in a little leather pouch to keep it from getting scratched up.
In his left pocket, he carries a roll of electrical tape, and a very fine grit sharpening stone in a leather pouch.
The backpack carries spare ammo in cardboard sleeves, spare bootlaces, boot wax, a rag, a hank of wire, and three days worth of food.
Needless to say, he is well prepared.
