"*Audible Sigh*, Life would be so much easier for you organics if you didn't make quite such a mess when someone perforated your dermal layer. Oh well, can't be helped."

Robots aren't quite uncommon in the wastes, though if there was another one quite like TOMMY it would certainly be a surprise. Mostly because TOMMY is not just refurbished but was also programmed purely by Claire, not as an assistant but as a friend. Jokingly standing for Terminator Of Meat Muppets (model) Y, TOMMY actually prefers to be referred to simply as Tom.

Standing at roughly head height, as to who's head...well that really depends. Much like his rather regular off the line brothers, Tom floats at a variable height. Typically floating about two feet off the ground, the four and a half foot tall chassis sets Tom as a rather stately figure. If he had a figure, or could possibly be stately.

Not to say that Tom doesn't try, amusingly enough the robot has a mobster's fedora bolted to the top of his unit, besides that the robot has a rather...unique coat of paint. Coat in both the literal and figurative manner, as under his 'main eye' rests a well drawn but rather worn and chipping tie, along with a little of the rest of the shirt, and what looks like a bit of a suit coat drawn on too.

Other than Tom's rather interesting choice of...clothing, there's also a few basic modifications to his three 'arms,' namely that those arms all end in hands. The Buzzsaw and Blowtorch are both still there, but have been set on rotors and lie along the robots 'arms' right before the 'wrist'. Compared to most other Mr. Handy style robots, this gives Tom quite the leg up on manipulation and each of those hands are fully functional and independent. Which is quite helpful, considering that Tom has quite a few things to do with those hands.

Besides the hands, the chassis is clearly reinforced with a level of toughness that rivals that of the Mr. Gutsy variant. Carefully welded plates of metal are layered over-top the rather light exoskeleton grants Tom a rather high level of bulk, though the metal plates can't full cover his exposed servos, joints, and rotors.

Inbetween the three axial eyes that sit one third around the robot's chassis lie a series of leather 'tool belt' slots, along which lie a variety of hand-tools that Claire can't be bothered to carry; and that Tom has at least a general idea of how to use. A monkey wrench, a hammer, a few screw drivers, a crowbar, and a hand-drill to name just the ones he carries, let alone his master's backpack. His own skills in science and repair are good but interestingly lacking compared to his master's. Instead, Tom's focus happens to be medicine and survival skills, providing a kind of symbiosis that was certainly well intended.

Besides the tools, Tom typically carries about half the weight the two of them are carrying on them in a duffel bag held with the third "back" hand, usually this includes some water, food, some spare parts, scrap metal, and etc.

Though through all this, the Arsenal hasn't been touched one at all and Tom carries around a fairly heavy load of weaponry. Namely, two weapons, the Smith & Wesson M1917 revolver and the M1921 Thompson Submachine Gun; the later of which serves as a weapon of last resort. While the idea behind a Submachine gun is marvelous, the fact is that the weapon breaks down rather quickly and is a near terminal waste of ammo makes it a considerably more niche weapon. Instead, the M1917 tends to carry most of the load in combat. Both weapons are relatively well worn, however they are also in rather good condition with only the wear and tear of age effecting them.

Despite the bumps, dents, and chipped paint the robot and his weapons are still considerable functional and quite dangerous to anyone who'd attempt to harm Claire. Besides protecting Claire, Tom is fond of fixing people up and experimenting with making humans 'better' and 'less like a sack of meat filled with water and paste'. Tom's a lot more...quirky than his rather polite cousins and doesn't enjoy being told to be quiet.
